My little home network consists of a D-Link DGL-4100 router with a switch. From the switch I run a DGL-4300 to my upstairs, as a wireless access point (I have its DHCP turned off.) Now my wife bought a notebook computer, and I need better wireless coverage for the house’s lower level. The store sold her a Linksys router. If I repeat the same strategy, using the Linksys as an access point, will it play nice with the D-Link DGL-4100?

My network administrator says that I cannot download torrent files when I am connected to this network (a rule of this network; I have no options to switch to another network). And yesterday night I checked it, BitCommet is not working !

I don’t know what the admins have done…blocked ports or have blocked the entire protocol…???!!!

I just need to download torrent files !

Is there a way around it ?

What are they waiting for, will they just agree to the terms, or say they will not. Are they going to make their current subscribers wait until the last minute, in case they want to switch to Direct TV?. It has been over a week since the announcement, how come they cannot give a straight yes or no answer relating to the terms? Any one with inside info?.

There are so many cell phone ads on tv, all of them saying they’re the best (obviously) but I want to know, wacky, clever, and dumb commercials aside; What do you think about your cell phone and the service you get? Which phone and which service is really the best and which ones are crap in a box?
